Stop making a fuse; permit my reviews of the Girl Child
Call me a Girl Child.
I may be weak, but I bring forth a strong generation
Call me a Girl Child
I can be a home wrecker or a home builder
I am the foundation of a nation
And my submission to the bone of my bone does not make me a stone
A lot of issues have cost her tissues
Call me a Girl Child before making me a woman
Not just the household chores, give me the world to make a choice
At my smile, many rejoice
Call me a Girl Child
And give me a voice
Not just the boys, they also make noise
Don’t think of us as toys
Education can be my key
Don’t just make an occasion of me
A secession can arise
Arise oh Compatriots
Nigeria must hail the
Because she is part of God’s creation
Call me a Girl Child
I am strong, not wrong
You cannot cut my tongue
I’ll still sing my song and ever remain young

I am a proud Girl Child
